The 16th congress of the Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Society

The 16th congress of the Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Society, a section of the Transplantation Society, was successfully organized in Mitilini, Lesvos (September21 – 25), with the support of the R&D Hellenic pharma company ELPEN s.a., among others. Academics and senior researchers from Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan and Korea presented state-of-the-art research projects, as well as talks dealing with legal and ethical issues in relevance. From the BioMedLex team, Vicky Mollaki presented the Greek legislation on the establishment and function of research ethics committees, and Takis Vidalis gave a lecture titled “The Ethics of 3D Bioprinting Technology”.
