Kalliopi Kipouridou was awarded a PhD in Law in 2012. Her doctoral thesis, entitled "The commercialization of human organs as a problem of criminal law", was carried out with the financial support of the National Scholarships Foundation. From 2012 until today she participates as a lecturer in postgraduate programs at the Law and Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a member of the Hellenic Open University. From 2014 to 2015 she conducted postdoctoral research at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 2019 to 2020 she conducted postdoctoral research funded by the NSF on "The legal framework of organ donation and transplantation. Proposals for increasing the number of available transplants". She has participated as a lecturer in National School of Public Health workshops, conferences, seminars, and summer schools and has authored a monograph and more than 60 studies. She is a member of the "Medical Law and Bioethics Study Group" and an associate member of the "Medical Law and Bioethics Study Laboratory"
