Nikolaos Christos Xifaras is a medical doctor, having graduated from the Department of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and aiming to specialise in Neurology, with a special interest in neurotechnology and its impact. He holds a BSc in Computing and Information Systems from the University of London and he has pursued independent education and training in neurotechnology, health policy and public health, and health innovation. He has served as President, Secretary General and Acting Treasurer of the European Medical Students’ Association, along with having experience in other NGOs. He is involved in several working groups, alliances, and committees focused on his interest areas and has been a part of multilateral projects such as EU-SEPEN. He has participated in clinical trials and has presented his research in major national and international conferences, as well as having published it in well-regarded medical journals.
