Maria Milapidou

Maria Milapidou was awarded a PhD by the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2011. In September 2021 she completed her postdoctoral research at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School in the field of Medical Law and Bioethics on "Legal Issues in the Principle of Life in the light of the ECtHR case law".

Since January 2012 he has been teaching in six postgraduate programs of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a member of the Medical Law and Bioethics Group and a founding member of the Laboratory for the Study of Medical Law and Bioethics at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, of which she has been its Executive Director since January 2019.

She has authored two monographs, two books in collaboration with another author, and more than 60 studies - commentaries published in legal journals, Greek and foreign languages.
